Abstract
The clubhouse was founded by Paul Davison and Rohan Seth in the fall of 2019, and was initially known as Talkshow. The name of the app was changed to Clubhouse in March 2020, and the iOS version of the app was also officially launched at the same time. It secured $12 million in Series A funding in May 2020 from Product Hunt's Ryan Hoover, and the company was valued at $100 million. In May 2020, Clubhouse received $12 million in Series A funding from Product Hunt's Ryan Hoover, Coinbase's Balaji Srinivasan, Tilt.com's James Beshara, and others, valuing the company at $100 million. Clubhouse has completed a cold launch at this point in time.
